Media-results of 2009 in Kazakhstan

G1_03Internews Kazakhstan has carried out the poll in social networks “Moy Mir”, “VKontakte” and at the official site of the organization. Total number of the poll participants is 92 persons.

                Amongst the television novelties spectators and professionals remarked this year the following: new format of information program of the 31-st channel “Informbureau”, start-up of “Gorod Mechty” (Dream city) serial on the Astana channel, rebranding of Rakhat channel under brand of STV, “Eki Zhuldyz” Show on Kazakhstan channel and start-up of the 7-th channel. True, part of users noted that new format of Informbureau, “Dream city” serial and start-up of the 7 channel can be referred to both breakthroughs and failures. “Eki zhuldyz” show collecting only positive responses during the poll was criticized severely by spectators for final issue.

Besides these programs, users named as openings of the year – the program “M@atriCA” (Internews), “Positive-Show” (Astana), “Semeinyi budget” (Family budget) (Tan).

The poll participants noted two novelties of printed press: the first Kazakhstan paparazzi magazine “GO!GO! Magazine”and “Focus” newspaper with portal vesti.kz.

But most of users consider that the breakthrough of the year is the general status of the industry which manages to develop despite of the crisis.
